College student among 2 killed in N'ganj road crash

Two people, including a college student, were killed and two others injured as a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Nafiz, an intermediate student at Safar Ali College in Araihazar upazila and son of Naim Mia, a resident of Bhayela Mia Bari in Rupganj, and Dulal Mia, 50, a resident of Bancharampur area in Brahmanbaria district.

Locals and police said a bus of 'Badhan Paribahan' rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Palla area on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway around 8:30 am, leaving two passengers of the latter vehicle dead on the spot.
