4 killed as truck runs them over in Narsingdi

Four people were killed and five others injured after a truck ran them over at Mashinghar bus stand area in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi on Sunday morning.
Of the deceased, three were identified as Siddiq of Belabo, Abul Kalam and Siddiq of Raipura.
Police and locals said, a Sylhet-bound truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and entered near the vegetable market after losing control. At that time, two passengers of the vehicle and two pedestrians were killed and five other people injured.
Mozammel Hossain, Officer-in-charge of Bhairab Highway Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
