2-3 victims of Gulshan attack being interrogated: DMP

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia on Thursday said two or three persons are being questioned who were rescued from Gulshan Holey Artisan Bakery attack on July 1.

 We rescued total 32 people, almost all of them were diner and we are now questioning two or three of them, the DMP Commissioner unveiled the information in press briefing at DMP headquarters in the noon.

He said Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit of police investigating the Gulshan attack case.

 The Commissioner also said we have already recovered much information to find out the attacker’s arms provider and others associates but we can’t unveil that information now.

 Earlier, On July 1, the Holey Artisan Cafe and O’ Kitchen, an upscale cafe frequented by foreigners, came under attack on the evening, 20 diners, including 17 foreign nationals, were murdered before commandos stormed the restaurant took out six gunmen in the next morning.
