Parliament goes to 7th session on Tuesday
The 10th parliament is set to go into its seventh session around 5pm on Tuesday.
President Abdul Hamid summoned the parliament session on August 16 last exercising his power bestowed on him by article 72 (1) of the Constitution.
All preparations have already been taken to commence the session. The duration and business of the seventh session will be fixed from the meeting of business advisory committee to be held around 4pm tomorrow with Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
A total of 13 public bills including five new bills have been submitted for the seventh session.
According to the constitution, the President must convene a session within 60 days of the last sitting of the last session and the first sitting of the next session.
