No scope to reinstate caretaker govt system: Law Minister

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq has said there is no scope to reinstate the caretaker government system in the country. 

He said this while talking with journalists after giving a speech at the World Maritime Day celebration programme organized by the Ministry of Shipping on Thursday. 

The minister said the caretaker government will not return as it was declared illegal by the Supreme Court.

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Professor Dr Mohammad Tamim presented a keynote paper at the programme.

Ministry of Shipping Secretary Md Mostofa Kamal presided over the programme while State Minister for Ministry of Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury was present as a special guest.
