PM attends Joe Biden’s reception

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has joined a reception hosted by the US President Joe Biden in New York.

The US president along with his wife hosted the event on Wednesday evening at American Museum of Natural History in honour of heads of the state and heads of the government who came in New York to attend the 77th UN General Debate, reports BSS.

“Mr and Mrs Biden warmly welcome her (Sheikh Hasina) at the venue,” Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen told newsmen at the press briefing held at the hotel Lotte.

He said both the leaders talked about different issues, but the foreign minister didn't elaborate it immediately.

The prime minister invited him (Biden) to visit Bangladesh, he said.
