Destiny MD Rafiqul Amin granted interim bail

The High Court on Wednesday granted interim bail to Rafiqul Amin, Managing Director of the Multilevel Marketing Company Destiny-2000 Limited.

The HC bench lead by Justice Md. Ruhul Kuddus granted the bail, sources from the court said.

Barrister Ajmalul Haque QC and ABM Siddiqur Rahman Khan moved for the bail on behalf of Destiny MD Rafiqul Amin while advocate Khurshid Alam Khan stood for Anti-corruption Commission (ACC).

On July 31 in 2012, the Anti-corruption Commission filed a money laundering case with Kolabagan police station against 22 persons including Destiny MD Rafiqul Amin, president M Harunur Rashid and director Didarul Alam.

After completing the investigation, ACC submitted the chargesheet on May 4 in 2014.
