3 workers killed in rice mill roof collapse in Tangail

Three workers were killed after the roof of Ekata Rice Mill collapsed at Dubail area in Gopalpur of Tangail around 10pm on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Arif, 27, son of Bachchu Miah, Nurul Islam, 35, son of Karim Molla and Nayeemul Islam, son of Nur Mohammad. They were the inhabitants of Kurigram.
In this connection, Mosharaf Hossain, Officer-in-charge of Gopalpur Police Station, said the roof of the rice mill collapsed when the workers were working there. The death toll might be increased. The members of the fire service are working to rescue the people.
