Fire at DNCC office under control

A fire that broke out on the eighth floor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) office building in Gulshan-2 was brought under control on Thursday.
The fire started at 7:08am, said Rashed Shikder, Duty Officer of the Control Room of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
He said, being informed four fire service units rushed to the spot and doused the fire at 9:10am.
Maqbul Hossain, Public Relations Officer of the DNCC, in a press release said the fire broke out at the blaze began at the electrical control room located next to the elevator on the eighth floor of the building at about 7:15am. No casualties were reported.
