BCL men halt movements of CU shuttle train

Faction of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Chittagong University (CU) unit on Wednesday blockaded the movement of campus-bound shuttle trains as part of campus blockade demanding cancellation of newly formed CU unit BCL committee.

Some BCL activists also kidnapped the drivers of shuttle trains and wounded a police man by throwing stone on them.

Following the BCL protest, the university authorities have bound to postpone all academic scheduled.

The BCL activists on Tuesday staged protest for demanding cancellation of newly formed full committee and called an all-out blockage on Wednesday, saying they would not allow movement of any shuttle train or minibus to the university until their demand is met.
