Bijoynagar TV showroom fire under control

The fire that broke out in a TV showroom in Bijoynagar area in the capital of Dhaka has been brought under control.
The showroom of Hamim Electronics behind Hotel Ekattor caught fire around 6:30 pm, Fire Service and Civil Defence control room duty officer Md Rafi Al Faruk said.
Being informed, 13 units of the fire extinguishers rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at about 8:27 pm after around two hours' frantic efforts, he said.
However, the causes of the fire could not be known primarily and no casualty was reported in the incident, the official added.
