3 killed as bus hits trolley in Barishal

Three people were killed after a bus hit a trolley on Barishal-Kuakata highway at Katherpul area under Rangasree union in Bakerganj upazila of Barishal around 10am on Monday. 

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. 

Trolley driver, his helper and another man are among the deceased. The driver died on the spot and later two other injured were taken to Barishal Sher-e-Banga Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared them dead.  

Police seized the bus and detained its driver after the accident.

Md Alauddin Milon, Officer-in-charge of Bakerganj Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
