Policeman dies falling off motorcycle

A police member has died after falling from a motorcycle in Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur district. 

Deceased Rayhan Islam Rajib, 26, worked as a constable in the district police, and resident of Pravakardi village under Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj district.

Nagarkanda Police Station officer Md Habil Hossain said Rayhan fell from his motorcycle in front of BURO Bangladesh office in Talmar Sadarbera area around 9:30 pm on Friday as he lost control over it and received serious injuries.

He was first rushed to Nagarkanda Upazila Health Complex and later, taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital, Faridpur where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
