Deputy Speaker’s body to be brought back home on Monday

The body of Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Md Fazle Rabbi Miah will be brought back home from New York on Monday. 

An Air Emirates flight carrying his body will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport 8:40am. 

His first namaz-e-janaza will be held at Jamaica Muslim Centre in New York after Zuhr prayer on Sunday (local time). 

Swapon Kumar Biswas, Public Relations Officer of the Deputy Speaker, confirmed the matter to Jago News on Saturday.

He said, Deputy Speaker’s janaza is expected to be held at Jatiya Sangsad premises. Another janaza will also be held at Supreme Court premises. Later, his body was taken to Gaibandha. He will be buried at his family graveyard after a janaza at Bharatkhali school ground. 

It is to be noted, Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi died while undergoing treatment at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York around 2am on Saturday (Bangladesh local time). 

He had suffering from cancer for a long.
