Desh Rupantor Editor Amit Habib hospitalized

Daily Desh Rupantor Editor Amit Habib has been admitted to a hospital in the capital of Dhaka.

The renowned journalist was admitted to BRB Hospital on Thursday afternoon after he had suddenly fallen ill.

Desh Rupantor's senior reporter Pavel Haider Chowdhury confirmed the matter to Jago News.

Though it was unclear about his today's sickness, he suffered a heart attack last year and he has diabetes, Pavel said. 

Before joining Desh Rupantor, Amit Habib worked with the country's different dailies, including Kalerkantha, Samakal, Jai Jai Din, and Bhorer Kagoj, in different positions.
