Two minors drown in Netrakona

Two children drowned in Barhatta upazila of Netrakona district on Tuesday morning.
They were Hasan, 6, son of Zilla Mia of South Demura village in the district, and Chand Moni, 7, daughter of Rangu Mia, of Gachhtala village in Dharmapasha upazila of Sunamganj district. Chand Moni is a cousin (paternal) of Hasan and she along with her mother came to Netrakona.
Locals said the two children drowned in the Bishnai River while taking bath.
Barhatta Police Station officer in-charge Lutful Haque confirmed the incident to Jago News.
