Eight sued over Jashore Jubo Dal leader murder
A case has been filed against eight named and five to six unknown people over the murder of Jashore Jubo Dal leader Bodiuzzaman Dhoni.
Moniruzzaman Moni, brother of the deceased, lodged the case with Kotwali Police Station on Wednesday night, additional police superintendent (Ka-circle) Belal Hossain confirmed.
A local Jubo Dal leader was hacked to death by the terrorists in broad daylight in Jashore district town on Tuesday morning.
Deceased Bodiuzzaman Dhoni was the senior vice-president of Jashore district unit Jubo Dal, the youth wing of BNP.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, the miscreants hacked Dhoni, who was also the previous president of Jashore district town unit Jubo Dal, in front of his home near Shankerpur Chopdarpara Akbar intersection, leaving him seriously injured.
He was rushed to Jashore General Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
