Main Eid jamaat held at National Eidgah

The main Eid jamaat (congregation) of the holy Eid-ul-Azha was held at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises in the capital at 8am on Sunday.
Baitul Mukarram National Mosque’s Khatib Mawlana Mufti Ruhul Amin conducted the congregation at the ground.
Chief Justice Hasan Foyez Siddiqui, cabinet members, government high-ups, diplomats and non-government officials, among others, attended the Eid prayers.
Strict security measures were taken to ensure safety and security at the Eidgah during the country’s prime Eid congregation.
The devotees were not allowed to carry any bags at the prayer-ground.
