Two killed as truck hits motorcycle in Sylhet

Two people were killed and another was injured as a truck hit a motorcycle in Jaintapur upazila of Sylhet district on Sunday afternoon.

Among the diseased, one was identified as Azim, 19, son of Firoz Mohri, a resident of Pirerbazar Hatura village under Shahparan Police Station.

Locals said a truck rammed a motorcycle in front of Sylhet Gas Field on the Sylhet-Tamabil Highway around 3 pm, leaving a biker dead on the spot and two riders injured.

Out of the injured, one, later, passed away on the way to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital (SOMCH).

Jaintapur Model Police Station sub-inspector Nikhil Chandra Roy confirmed the incident to Jago News.
