Throat-slit bodies of mother, son found in N’ganj

A mother and her son were found dead with their throats slit in their house at Ujan Gobindapur area in Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Razia Sultana Kakali, 42, wife of late Awal Nabi, of the area and her son Talha, 8. 

According to the source, local people spotted the dead bodies in the house and informed the matter to police. 

In this connection, Azizul Haque Hawlader, Officer-in-charge of Araihazar Police Station, said police rushed to the spot. An investigation is going on about the matter.
