Floods claim 82 lives, 51 in Sylhet

The death toll from floods across the country has risen to 82, with nine deaths in the last 24 hours.
Of them, the highest 51 and the second highest 27 died in Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions respectively.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said this in a press release on Saturday.
The number of people infected with various diseases caused by floods stood at 4,616 across the country.
