PRAN-RFL stands beside flood-hit people under ‘Pashe Asi Bangladesh’ program

PRAN-RFL group has stood beside flood-affected people in Sylhet, Sunamganj, and Habiganj under its project ‘Pashe Asi Bangladesh’. The leading conglomerate has distributed dry food, handed over RFL’s support branded boats to the local administration, and taken initiative to distribute safe drinking water among the people of remote places in flood-hit areas. 

Kamruzzaman Kamal, Director (Marketing) at PRAN-RFL Group said, “We have sent dry food immediately considering the severe crisis of food and drinking water in flood-affected areas. Firstly, we have faced some problems regarding transporting the relief to the affected areas but with the assistance of the local administration and the Bangladesh Army, we are able to send the relief. We have sent puffed rice, flattened rice, and various kinds of biscuits.” 

He also added, “There is an acute crisis of drinking water in remote areas of the flood-affected districts. RFL’s water tank brand ‘Sera’ is distributing thousands of 20-liter water tanks considering the safe water in flood-hit areas. The brand is also giving water purification tablets so that they can purify the water in the tank. We have given our support branded boat to the district administration of Sylhet for helping the flood-affected people through transport. We are also working on how to help the flood-hit people in many other ways.”   

PRAN-RFL group has launched the project ‘Pashe Asi Bangladesh’ in 2020 to help the helpless people in various national crises as a corporate social responsibility.-Press Release.
