Tk 5 lakh reward for info about militants: Benazir Ahmed

Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Benazir Ahmed on Monday said militant informers will be rewarded with Tk 5 lakh.

He declared the prize money at a press conference after an all-out anti-militant drive in Bogra district, where the elite force tear downed three militant training camps.

The RAB Boss said, Tk 10 lakh would be given, if any militant gives information about his cohorts.

He also assured that the informers and their keens will get proper security.

The militants have been trained up in the remote area of Bogra, the RAB DG added.

Earlier, on Monday morning, law enforcers conducted joint drives at different places of Bogra district to find out militant hideout.
