2 more dead bodies recovered from BM Container Depot

A massive fire that broke out at BM Container Depot in Sitakunda of Chattogram has been brought under control after three days. 

Members of Fire Service and Civil Defence have recovered two more dead bodies and some human bones from the spot. 

With two, 43 dead bodies have been so far recovered from the spot. 

Md Al Amin, a member of the fire service, on Tuesday told Jago News after the fire was brought under control.

He said the fire service members entered the depot with two bags to bring the dead bodies at 12:07pm. The process of identifying bodies is going on. The bones collected from the spot will be given to the families after examining the DNA.

An explosion took place at BM Container Depot in Sitakunda on Saturday night. At least 43 people, including members of the fire service, were killed. Hundreds of people have been burnt and are being treated at different hospitals.
