Gas price for double burners rise to Tk 1080

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has raised the prices of natural gas at the consumer level.
According to the new prices, the consumers will have to pay Tk 1,080 for double burner stoves and Tk 990 for a single burner.
BERC Acting Chairman Md Abu Faruk made the announcement around 3 pm on Sunday.
The new prices will come into effect from this month and the users will have to pay it from July.
Previously the price was Tk 975 for double burner stoves and Tk 925 for a single burner.
