Narsingdi teenager assault: Accused woman held

The woman, who is accused of assaulting a teenage girl at Narsingdi Railway Station for wearing 'indecent clothes', has been arrested.
The Rapid Action Battalion apprehended Shila Akter alias Sayma from Shibpur upazila in the district on Monday.
RAB's legal and media wing assistant director ANM Imran Khan confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said a case was filed over the recent assault and harassment of the university student at Narsingdi Railway Station.
The 'harassing' woman was arrested in the lawsuit, he added.
Earlier in the morning of May 18, a woman first assaulted the teenage girl seeing her in jeans and tops at the No. 1 platform at the railway station, and then, several others attacked her.
