Condemned convict Minni seeks bail from HC

Ayesha Siddika Minni, the death row convict in the sensational murder case of her husband Rifat Sharif, has filed a petition before the High Court seeking bail.
She filed the plea last week, her lawyer Advocate Md Shahinuzzaman confirmed the matter to Jago News.
The bench of Justice Mostafa Zaman Islam and Justice Md Selim is scheduled to hold a hearing on the bail petition.
A court in Barguna on September 30 in 2020 awarded Ayesha Siddika Minni and five others the death penalty in a case filed over the sensational killing of her husband Rifat Sharif in the district.
