Fire breaks out at Square Pharmaceuticals factory in Gazipur

A fire has broken out at a factory of Square Pharmaceuticals Limited at Kanthalia area in Kaliakair upazila of Gazipur.

The fire erupted inside the factory’s newly-introduced large-volume parenteral unit around 12:15 pm on Monday, said Kaliakoir Fire Service Station Officer Saiful Islam. 

Eight units of the fire service are working to douse the flame. 

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
