Rain with thundershowers likely across country

Rain or thunder showers with intense lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and the region of Cumilla.

The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the districts of Gopalganj, Rangamati, Chandpur, Moulvibazar, Rajshahi, Barishal and Patuakhali and it may continue.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country , said a MET office bulletin.

Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded by 38 degree Celsius at Jashore and minimum temperature today was recorded by 23.4 degree Celsius at Tetulua.

The sun sets at 6:26 pm today and rises at 5:25 am tomorrow in the capital.
