Verdicts against 8 Jamalpur war crimes accused today

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) is set to deliver its verdicts in the war crimes cases against eight people of Jamalpur district on Monday.

The three-member bench of the tribunal, headed by Justice Anwarul Haq, on Sunday fixed the date for the delivery of the judgment.

Justice Shahinur Islam and Justice Mohammad Suhrawardi are the two other members of the bench.

On June 19, closing the law-point arguments from both sides in the trial, the ICT kept pending its verdict for any day.
