Case filed against 150 over Mursalin murder
A case has been filed against 100 to 150 unidentified people over the death of shop worker Mursalin, who was killed in the clashes between Dhaka College students and Dhaka New Market traders.
His brother Nur Mohammad lodged the case on Thursday night, New Market Police Station officer in-charge SM Kaiyum confirmed to Jago News on Friday.
Earlier on Monday midnight, Dhaka College students and New Market traders-workers clashed and chased-counter-chased in New Market area in the capital of Dhaka.
Later, the situation was brought to control but a clash erupted again on Tuesday morning.
Two people - Md Mursalin, 24, a shop worker and a resident of Jhaulahati Chourasta area at Kamrangichar in the capital and hailed from Badakandi village in Titas upazila of Cumilla district, and Nahid Hasan, a courier worker - were killed in the clashes.
