Dhaka College dorms shut, students asked to vacate
All the residential halls of Dhaka College have been closed until May 5 over the clashes between the institution's students and the New Market traders.
Besides, the students were asked to vacate dormitories Tuesday afternoon.
The announcement was made in a notice signed by acting Principal ATM Moinul Hossain this afternoon.
Earlier on Monday midnight, Dhaka College students and New Market traders clashed, chased-counter-chased in New Market area.
Later, the situation was brought to control but a clash erupted again this morning, leaving around 40 people injured.
