4 get death penalty for murdering 1 in N’ganj

A court has sentenced four people to death and two others to life term imprisonment in a case filed for murdering one named Md Imon at Fatullah in Narayanganj. 

Narayanganj Additional District and Session Judge Sabina Yesmin passed the order on Sunday.  

The court also acquitted four people in the case. 

Public Prosecutor of the court advocate Jasmin Ahmed confirmed the matter to Jago News.

The death-row convicts are Md Nahid, 21, Md Siraj Miah, 45, Sentu Miah, 25 and Ahmmed Ali, 55. 

The life term awardees are Salma Begum, 52 and Hosne Ara, 47.

The acquitted people are Ayesha, Mamun, Khorshed Alam and Montu.
