Youth gunned down in Bandarban

A young man was gunned down by allegedly the terrorists in Sadar upazila of Bandarban district on Tuesday afternoon.

He was identified as Jalanta Chakma, 38, but his detailed identity could not be known yet.

Tongkaboti Union Parishad Chairman Mangya Mroo said the terrorists shot a man to death in Chakma Para area under Ward No. 5 of the union around 5 pm.

Additional Superintendent of the district police Ashok Kumar Pal said police were going to the spot, and details would be informed later.
