3 school girls killed after being hit by train

Three school girls were killed after being hit by a Mymensingh-bound Bijoy Express train at Bijoypur rail crossing area in Cumilla Sadar uapzila on Wednesday. 

The deceased were identified as Meem, 14, Tasfia, 13 and Lima, 12. 

They all were the students of Bijoypur Government Primary School.  

After the incident, the rail communication between Dhaka and Chattogram was suspended. Apart from, agitated local people blocked the Cumilla-Noakhali highway.

Md Jasim Uddin, Officer-in-charge of Laksam Railway Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
