Bangladeshi student killed in Azerbaijan

A Bangladesh student has mysteriously been killed in Azerbaijan.

Deceased Ria Islam was the daughter of Abu Bakr, a resident of Kathalbaria area in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi district.

Bakr said they were informed over the phone that Ria was killed in Ganja city on Wednesday morning. 

But nothing could be known about how she was murdered and why, he said.

His daughter studied in law at a university of Baku and besides study, would work at a restaurant, he added. 

He also said arrangements are being made to bring back her body through Iranian Embassy to Azerbaijan as Bangladesh has no mission there.
