Nilkhet book shops catch massive fire

Book shops at a market in Nilkhet area of the capital caught a devastating fire on Tuesday afternoon.

The fire originated at the book shops of Bakusha Hawkers Market around 7:47 pm.

Fire Service and Civil Defence duty officer Rozina Akter confirmed the matter to Jago News.  

Being informed, three units of the firefighters first, and later, seven ones went to the spot and are trying to douse the blaze, she said.

Causes of the fire and amoun of the damages could not be known yet, the fire service official added.
