RMCH counts four more fatalities in Covid-19 unit

Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded four more fatalities in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 9am today.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said one of the deceased was a resident of Natore and he died with Covid-19 infections, while two others were from Naogaon and one from Rajshahi. They died with Covid-19 symptoms, reports BSS. 

Meanwhile, two more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 38, including 12 positive for Covid-19, at present.

However, five others returned home after being cured during the same time.

On the other hand, 23 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 379 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Sunday, showing a 6.07 percent infection rate in Rajshahi district.
