RMCH records 4 more deaths in Covid-19 unit

Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded four more deaths in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 9am today, reports BSS.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said one of the deceased was a resident of Natore and he died with Covid-19 infections. Three others were one each from Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj and Sirajganj districts. They died with Covid-19 symptoms, he said.

Meanwhile, six more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 63, including 39 positive for Covid-19, at present.

Nine other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

On the other hand, 335 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 641 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Monday, showing a 52.26 percent positivity rate against 40.82 percent on Sunday.
