6th phase UP polls on Monday

The sixth phase of the union parishad (UP) election will be held on Monday.
The voting in 218 UPs under 42 upazilas in 22 districts will begin at 8 am and continue till 4 pm without any break.
Of these, voting in 216 unions will be through Electronic Voting Machine (EVM).
Earlier on December 18 last year, the Election Commission fixed January 31 to hold the sixth phase of the union parishad (UP) election.
