5 more die in MMCH Corona unit

Five more people died in the Corona unit of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) in the last 24 hours.
The deceased were identified as Fazlul Haque, 65, Maya Rani, 64, of Mymensingh Sadar upazila, Dulal Miah, 52, of Ishwarganj, Nurul Haque, 65, of Bhaluka and Lutfor Rahman, 42, of Sherpur Sadar upazila.
Dr Mohiuddin Khan Mun, Focal Person of MMCH’s Corona unit, confirmed the matter on Sunday.
He said, a total of 73 people - 69 people in Corona unit and 4 others in ICU of the hospital - are currently receiving treatments. Of them, 37 people tested positive for Coronavirus.
In the last 24 hours, 394 samples were examined and out of them 90 got positive results for the virus, said Mymensingh District Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Nazrul Islam.
Earlier on Saturday, five people died from Coronavirus in MMCH’s Corona unit.
