Journalist Habibur killed in Hatirjheel road accident

Md Habibur Rahman, 40, senior reporter of Daily Shomoyer Alo, was killed as he lost control of his motorcycle in the capital’s Hatirjheel around 2:30am on Tuesday.
Habibur, also former organizing secretary of Dhaka Reporters Unity, was sent to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in a critical condition where the on-duty doctor declared him dead around 3am.
Mehedi Hasan, the man who rushed Habibur to the DMCH, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Md Bachchu Miah, In-charge of DMCH police camp, said the body was kept at DMCH morgue for autopsy.
