1 killed in city’s Kaptan Bazar fire

A youth was burnt to death in a fire that broke out at Kaptan Bazar market in the city early today.
"The blaze originated at a shop in the market at about 4.45am", Fire Service and Civil Defence control room duty officer Dewan Azad told BSS.
Being informed, 12 firefighting units went to the spot and managed to extinguish the fire around 8 am today, he said.
Later, the firefighters team recovered the body, identified him as Yasin Hossain, 21.
"The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. It will be known through proper investigation," Azad said.
