Woman found hanged in Jessore

A woman was found hanged at her room at Navaran village in Sharsha upazila on Tuesday night.

The deceased is Anjana Rani, 20, wife of Palash Kumar, a resident of Navaran village.

Quoting locals, police said she was found hanged with the ceiling of her room at about 10:00pm.

Later, she was whisked off to Jessore Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctors declared her dead.

An unnatural death case was filed with Kotwali Police Station.
