370 new Covid cases, 4 deaths in 24 hrs
The Bangladesh government recorded 370 new COVID-19 cases and four deaths in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total infections stood at 15,85,909 and fatalities rose to 28,076, a health directorate press release said on Saturday.
Bangladesh, however, first reported its coronavirus cases on March 8, 2020.
The virus first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019 and then it spread to other countries.
To date, the epidemic infected 288,603,754 people and killed 5,455,034 across the globe, according to Worldometer, a website that compiles the number of new coronavirus cases and deaths from it.
However, the total number of people who recovered from the virus reached 253,846,227 across the world.
