Dr Murad sued in Cumilla

A case has been filed against Dr Md Murad Hassan, who has recently resigned as the state minister for information and broadcasting, in Cumilla.

Cumilla city BNP's former president and advocate Atiqul Islam filed the case in 1 No. subordinate court of the district on Sunday morning.

In the lawsuit, the plaintiff accused Murad of making indecent and defamatory remarks about the family of Ziaur Rahman and his daughter Barrister Zaima Rahman.

Muhammad Mohiuddin Helal Nahid alias Nahid, who took an interview of Dr Murad where he made the remarks, was also made accused in the case.
