86 gold bars recovered at Ctg airport

Customs Intelligence Officials recovered 86 gold bars weighing around 10 kilograms from a flight of Bangladesh Biman Airlines at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Saturday morning. 

No one was detained in the incident. 

Sources said, the flight named BG-148 landed at the airport from Dubai of the UAE around 8:30am. Later, customs officials raided the flight and recovered 86 gold bars under a seat.  

Confirming the matter to Jago News, Ctg airport director wing commander Forhad Hossen, said the recovered gold bars are under the custody of the customs officials and they are taking legal action.
