Five killed in Bogura factory fire

Five workers were killed after a fire broke out at a plastic factory in Santahar upazila of Bogura district on Tuesday morning.
The fire incident took place in Habib intersection area on Naogaon-Tilokpur road around 11 am.
Confirming the incident, the district Fire Service and Civil Defence deputy assistant director AKM Morshed said five units of the firefighters, later, brought the fire under control after around two hours' frantic efforts.
The origin of the fire could not be knwon yet, the fire official said.
Owner and Santahar municipal mayor Tofazzal Hossain Bhuttu said the fire damaged around Tk 30 crore things of his factory which produces plate materials.
