Five held in Dhaka on suspicion of 'anti-state conspiracy'

The Rapid Action Battalion members detained five people from Swamibag area in the capital on Thursday suspecting them to be 'anti-state conspirators'. 

RAB's Legal and Media Wing Director Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the matter to Jago News this evening.

He said a team of RAB-3 cordoned off a home of 59 No. colony this afternoon and later detained five people from there. 

The detainees will be questioned, and later, legal action will be taken about them, he said.

"It was primarily learned that they are involved with the anti-state conspiracy. Details in this regard would be informed tomorrow," the official added.
