One more student killed in capital road accident

Another student was killed as a containers loaded covered-van ran over a motorcycle at Airport area in the capital on Friday night. 

The deceased Mahadi Hasan Limon, 21, son of Mozammel Haque, of Panchbibi thana in Joypurhat. He was fourth year student of Green University.

The accident took place around 11:30pm, confirmed his aunty.

Limon’s neighbour Md Imam Hasan, said a speedy covered-van ran over a motorcycle, leaving Mahadi injured. Later, he was taken to a local hospital in a critical condition and later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

In this connection, Md Bachchu Miah, In-charge of DMCH camp, said the body was kept at the DMCH morgue for autopsy. 

Earlier on November 24, Notre Dame College student Nayeem was killed after being hit by a DSCC garbage truck in the capital’s Gulistan while he was crossing the road. 

Later on November 29, SSC result seeker Maenuddin was crushed under the wheels of a bus of Anabil Paribahan in Rampura.
